...from Past Members

Eventually people leave our club, usually when their children begin college, university or just move on to another sport. Here are a few of the messages that past members have sent to the club:

My daughter C, has decided not to continue with her lessons now that she has started Secondary School. Both C and her sister L, who finished two years ago, attended the swimming club from when they were just four years old. During our recent summer holiday I was very proud of their swimming, diving and generally how  confident they were in both the sea and the pool. That confidence and ability is absolutely because all of the great swimming teachers who have taught them over the years on a Saturday morning at Rushcliffe Swimming Club.

The swimming club is a very important local organisation  teaching children this vital life skill. I would like to thank you and all the volunteer teachers and organisers for running such a brilliant swimming club and wish you all well for the future.

With best wishes

J. Dale

I am writing to say that S and T have said that they would like to quit swimming club.  They have had a great experience and we are delighted with the standard of swimming they have achieved - it's just that they have other activities that are taking up more time.  We would like to thank all the teachers and also the committee for all the work you put in as it is a terrific club and provides an excellent learning environment.  Many, many thanks to you all and all the best for the future.

Just to let you know that A's membership will not need renewing.  We have all thoroughly enjoyed the time A has spent at Rushcliffe and wish the club every success in the future.

With sincere thanks, Carter family.

I am afraid that N will have to give up being a member of member of Rushcliffe Swimming Club.  With all the other commitments that he has, we are sorry that something has to give.  Now that he is a good enough swimmer, unfortunately it has to be RSC.  This ends around 14 years of association with you, which began when we first brought his older brother to learn to swim.  We wish you all every success in the future and thank you all for eveything that you have done for our boys' swimming.

Best wishes, Kirkwood family.

I would like to thank everyone involved in the club for the hard work they put in, especially our coaches who have helped my girls develop their swimming over the past two years.
